Our commitment to quality ensures your peace of mind. Below are the details of our product and installation warranties.

20-Year Coverage (Structure & Panels)

  • Steel Door Panels: Warranted against warping, rusting, or delamination for 20 years.

  • Fiberglass Door Panels (Woodgrain & Smooth): Warranted against denting, rotting, or delaminating for 20 years.

    • Recommendation: We strongly suggest multipoint locking systems on all fiberglass doors to enhance weather seals and minimize potential warping.

  • Door Frames: Wood or vinyl frames and brickmoulds are warranted against warping or buckling for 20 years.

10-Year Limited Warranty

  • Door Lites (Glass Units): Decorative, wrought iron, and clear glass units are warranted against seal failure for 10 years.

  • Painted Finishes: Paint on steel/fiberglass panels and vinyl frame components (factory-painted) is warranted for 10 years against blistering, peeling, or uneven discoloration.

    • Note: Minor imperfections on smooth fiberglass panels are normal and not considered defects. Fading due to environmental exposure is a natural occurrence.

5-Year Limited Warranty

  • Stained Finishes: Stain finishes on woodgrain fiberglass doors and frame components (factory-stained) are warranted for 5 years against blistering, peeling, or uneven discoloration.

What is Not Covered (Exclusions)

To maintain the integrity of your warranty, please note the following exclusions:

  • Installation: Damage or leaks caused by improper or faulty installation.

  • Environmental Factors: Natural fading, chalking, or dirt accumulation due to sunlight and air pollutants.

  • Maintenance: Failure to perform reasonable maintenance or damage from harmful chemical solvents.

  • Structural Changes: Damage caused by building settlement or structural defects.

  • Extreme Conditions: Damage from "Acts of God" (wind, hail, lightning), accidents, or intentional negligence.

  • Storm Doors: Use of a storm door over dark-colored doors or in areas with heavy sun exposure must be avoided, as it can cause paint failure and glass frame damage.

  • Salt Water Proximity: Doors installed within 8km of a saltwater body carry only half of the standard warranty period.

  • Normal Tolerances: Warp not exceeding 3/16”, glass breakage, and minor caming discoloration in door lites.

Warranty Conditions & Claims

  • Remedy: MapleFort's liability is limited exclusively to the repair or replacement of the part (at our discretion). We are not liable for labor, installation costs, or any incidental inconveniences.

  • Substitutions: If an exact replacement part is no longer available, we reserve the right to substitute parts of equal quality.

  • Proof of Purchase: No warranty work will be performed without a valid proof of purchase from MapleFort Doors.

  • Modifications: This warranty is void if the product is modified or altered in any way by the owner.
